The U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service manages 150 million-acre National Wildlife Refuge System, as well as National Fish Hatcheries and fishery resource offices. The USFWS also enforces federal wildlife laws and protects endangered species.

The National Park Service manages 84 million acres of national parks, monuments, battlefields, military and historic parks, historic sites, and recreation areas, across all 50 United States and the District of Columbia.
