Former Acting Director, Office of Congressional and Legislative Affairs in the Interior Department

Micah Chambers served as the acting director of the Office of Congressional and Legislative Affairs, which “discharges the duties of the Secretary with the authority and direct responsibility for programs associated with legislative and congressional liaison activities” and serves “as the Department’s principal liaison with Congressional Committees and individual Members of Congress, and as the Department’s congressional and legislative liaison with the White House.”

Micah Chambers began his career working for DC lobbying firms before becoming the Deputy Political Director on Ryan Zinke’s 2014 congressional campaign. Chambers then served as Zinke’s Deputy Chief of Staff and Legislative Director on Capitol Hill.
