Preston Beard is an advisor in the Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement, which “oversees offshore oil and gas safety” and “is tasked with regulating, permitting, inspecting and investigating oil and gas production on the outer continental shelf.”
Preston Beard has alternated between working for politicians of both parties and oil and gas interests.
