Ryan Hambleton, since mid-2018, has been the deputy assistant secretary for fish, wildlife and parks.

Ryan Hambleton graduated from Colby College in 1999. From 2000 to 2001 he worked at Goddard Claussen Porter Novelli, which at the time was a predominately conservative public affairs firm. From 2001 to 2003 Hambleton worked in the Office of Senator Bob Smith, and from 2003 to 2011 he worked in the Office of Senator Jim Bunning. From 2011 to April 2018 he was a staffer on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee. His final job on the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee was as “staff director of the Subcommittee on Interior, Energy and Environment.”
